MATANGI.
Bible Class Club. With the commencement of the double delivery of milk to the factory the Bible Class Club brought, to a close a series of successful and popular evenings. By catering for the social needs of the young people and in encouraging outsiders to take on interest in the Bible Class movement, the club has been an asset to the district, and it is hoped that the same enthusiasm and keenness shown by the members this year will prevail in the future. As a final wind-up the club decided to hold a picnic, and on Saturday morning six cars conveyed the happy group to Lake Rotokauri, where an enjoyable lime was spent. Dairying. The mild, sunny weather during the last few weeks has brought with it a welcome growth-of feed and the prospects of a good season ahead are very bright. The evening delivery of milk, which is characteristic of a Claxo supply, commenced on September 16th and will continue until March. But why worry 1 With the Daylight Saving Bill in operation we may possibly get finished before dark. Honour to New Gflembep. On Friday the Union Jack fluttered from the school flagpole, in recognition of the honour conferred on the district in having one of its prominent residents elected to Parliament as member for Raglan. The action was especially appropriate, as Mr Lee Martin is chairman of the school committee.
