The descendant of IVlartjon—star Lady has been stretching out in good style in his latest gallops at headquarters and he is going to be one of the vveil fancied candidates on Saturday. After tho week-end racing Star Stranger will be deopatched to Riccarton to fulfil his engagements in the New Zealand Cup and signs are not wanting to indicate that he is expected to run well in that event also.
