SALE OF WORK.

TE AROHA PRESBYTERIANS. The sale of work conducted by the ladies of the Presbyterian Church at Te Aroha was concluded at the week-end. About £l5O was taken, and Ibis was considered satisfactory. The various stalls were artistically decorated. Miss Ranby and Mr Kennedy won the nail-driving competition, and Miss Earle (Elstow) the weight-guessing event. The stalls were controlled as follows:—Children’s stall, Mesdames A. D. Wallace and N. Petersen; plain sewing, Mesdames R. Woodroffe and Stevenson; sweets stall, Mrs Schell and Miss Morrison; county stall, Mesdames Malcolm, W. Darkness and Whisker; novelty stall, Mesdames Mackay, James and Hamilton; produce stall, Mesdames L. Goldsbury and llewson; cake stall, Mesdames Manson, Hill and Cowley; flower stall, Mrs and Miss Milne.
