SPRING MEETING NOMINATIONS. CLOSE AT 9 CKCLOCK TO-NIGHT. The Spring Meeting of the Wellington Racing Club will be held at Trentham on Saturday, October 22, and Monday, October 24. This leading club has drawn up a very attractive list of events, and the best horses can be expected to be seen out at this fixture. Nominations for all. events, also forfeit (lsov.) for the Wellesley Stakes, will close with the secretary (Mr J. M. Griffiths) at the office of the club, Woodward Street, Wellington, at 9 o'clock to-night.
