The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from 9 a.m. daily, and weather conditions are kindly supplied by Mr Jas Bremner:

Barometer 30.0 falling. Indications are for generally fair weather, probably followed by occasional showers. Winds variable, mostly northerly. Saturday and Sunday were fair and bright, with brisk westerly winds. Mean temperature 49.5 deg.
The Weather Bureau wires: The indications for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day are for variable and moderate breezes, westerly prevailing. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather, with increasing haze and cloudiness. Barometer has a railing tendency.
