In “The Last Warning” at Melbourne are Louise Lovely, Duleie Bland, Frank Bradley, Walter Cornock, J. B. Rowe, Campbell Copelhi, Kerry Kelly, H. Lane-Bayliff and Edwin Lester. “English” Film by U.S. Firm. The American firm of film producers. First National Pictures, is to make an English film, directed by Mr Graham i Cutts, the British film director, with an English cast. It will be produced at Nice, will be based on a story by Mr Douglas Furber under the title of “Confetti,” and will be acted by Mr Jack Buchanan, Miss Annette Benson, Miss Sydney Fairbrother, Mr Robert Irvine, and others. It is understood in film circles that First National have a big scheme in hand for further English films and that they are already treating for the purchase of a big site in London for the erection of film.studios. At the same time it is announced that a British renting firm, F.8.Q., is also to begin film production under the management of Mr F. A. Enders, its managing director. Mr Enders has made a working arrangement with one of the independent American film producing firms whereby his English j fltms will be handled by them in the I United States.'
