A GOOD F2ECSPE. This method of making bath salts has been tried with success, and 21b of salts can be obtained for about Gs Gd. Take 21b crystal carbonate of soda (2s Gd a lb.), and spread out on an enamel Irav. Spray over a dessertspoon of spike oil of lavender. This is about half the price of the usual oil of lavender, and twice as delicate in perfume. When thoroughly mixed, work in a few drops of very strong tea containing a trace of glycerine. The, tea-rose shade, and the glycerine prevents the salts developing a powdery outer crust. The addition of a drop or two of sandalwood oil to the scented oil helps to intensify the per-, fumo* ~ ;•
