FEARFUL CYCLONE.
DAMAGE AT ST. LOUIS. CITY ALMOST ISOLATED. SOME FATALITIE8 r MANY INJURED (Australian and N.Z. Cable As«n.) (Rec. September 30, 11.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, September 29. News from SL Louis, (Minnesota), states that the city was almost isolated from outside communication by a cyclone. Buildings were unroofed, tree* torn up and automobiles blown from the streets by a wind which lasted for five minutes. It reached a maximum velocity of 80 mileb per hour. Many were injured in th* damaged schools and factories. Two are known to be dead. It is Impossible yet to estimate the total damage. Hospitals were swamped by heavy rain during the storm. DEATH ROLL OF 41. (Roc. September 30, 1.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, September 29. Forty-one are dead as the result of the St. Louis cyclone.
