The game will not commence earlier than 3.15 p.m., owing to the inability of the mining team to arrive in Hamilton earlier. Mr Jas. Baillie will referee the game. A secondary schools’ game for the A.B.C. Cup, at present held by Seddon Rovers, will also be played for between the Hamilton Technical College and Seddon Rovers, the latter team being mainly composed of High School hoys, who created a surprise by beating the Technical School last year. Botli these teams have undergone special training for this match, and keen rivalry exists between them over the destination of the fine trophy. Mr R. W. Cook will officiate, the game commencing at 2.30 p.m. on the top ground at Seddon Park. A curtain-raiser to the Ansell Cup game will be a match between primary school teams representing Whitiora and Hamilton East, and will commence at 2 p.m., Mr G. Crabb refereeing. These matches will complete the official programme for the year, and ill view of the laudable object for which the proceeds are to be devoted no doubt a good attendance of the public can be looked for.
