SEARCHING THE SCRUB. CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. is the murderer of Owen Scariff Hiding in the lupins hear Brooklands? Detectives engaged on the case have again turned tHeir attenlidn to the scrub and are making a thorough search. .During the week-end someone broke into the hut of Mr Reginald Thompson, of Brooklands, a few miles frOrtl the scene of the murder, arid stole a razor. This morning a carload of detectives left for Brooklands. Certain information in the hands of the police throws grave suspicion on the man for whoni a search is now being made.
