MATCH AT NEWCASTLE. k DEFEAT OF THE VISITORS. (United Press Association). (Rec. June 21, 12.45 a.m.) j&ms SYDNEY, June 21. The New Zealand golf players still in Australia visited Newcastle at the guests of the local clubs and placed a number of matches. The most interesting' was between Duncan and Seifert and Burke and Murray, two leading local golfers. The latter won two up. Play on both sides was keen and brilliant.
