DEPARTURE FROM MALTA. ENTHUSIASTIC FAREWELL. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.V, (Received June 21, 9.42 a.m.) •MALTA, June 20.
Amid the thunder of farewell guns and the cheers and handclaps of the inhabitants thronging the foreshores and bastions, H.M.S. Renown sailed, escorted by aeroplanes and a destroyer flotilla. All other warships in the harbour were dressed and manned by companies, who cheered as the Renown passed.
