TWO CANADIANS INJURED. TRIBUTE TO WESTLAND GOALIE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. D. Turner and D. Graham, two members of the Canadian Soccer team, have returned to Wellington, temporarily disabled. The former twisted his ankle at Grcymouth, and Graham
was injured in a match at Nelson. Both will undergo medical treatment here, r which it is hoped will enable them to rejoin their side for the second test at Christchurch on July 2. Turner said Timlin was a wonderful goalkeeper, and was responsible for the Canadians’ defeat by Westland. They had quite a big part in the game, but Timlin was unbeatable. Curiously enough, the visitors arc feeling the cold very much. In Canada houses and hotels are internally heated, but in New Zealand they And the interiors so cold that they cannot sleep.
