The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from 9 a.m. daily, and weather conditions are kindly supplied by Mr Jas. Bremner:— Barometer.
Thermometer.
Barometer steady at 29.80/ Indications arc that unsettled weather conditions will continue to-day, probably clearing to-morrow, with light northerly winds, backing to west before clearing. Yesterday was fair. Light rain commenced to fall this morning. Winds were southerly. Mean temperature, 53.5 degrees.
The Weather Bureau wires.—The indications for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day arc for south-cn.sterly winds, moderate to strong and veering by south to west. Tiie weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled. Rain probable. Barometer unsteady.
