After two appeals to the Pensions Appeal Board and 12 months in the collection of evidence the R.S.A. lias secured recognition that an cx-sol-dier’s illness in hospital since 1921 is attributable to war service. This means not only a retrospective pension of approximately £IOO but also provision for treatment during the whole period at the charge of the department.
