EX-SOLDIER’S PENSION.
BELATED RECOGNITION. (By TelegraDh.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Tuesday. After two appeals to the Pensions Appeal Board and 12 months in the collection of evidence the R.S.A. lias secured recognition that an cx-sol-dier’s illness in hospital since 1921 is attributable to war service. This means not only a retrospective pension of approximately £IOO but also provision for treatment during the whole period at the charge of the department.
