TO PREVENT EXTERMINATION.

Owing to the vandalism practised in tee past by certain individuals, the State Government has issued a proclamation protecting for a year certain wild flowers and native plants. The step has been taken to prevent the absolute extermination ■of many •f the best native flora. •
