LETTER FROM PETER PAN.

THE NEW COMPETITION. MORE MEMBERS WANTED. * Mv dear young friends,—How are ,-ou all? I hope Jack Frost has not lipped anyone’s nose off! Didn’t he lome suddenly? He would be chucking away, thinking we had forgotten ill about him, saying “Ha! Ha! I will surprise them!” But ho usually brings Dcautifully clear sunshiny days. I hope you will be very pleased with the big double competition. I want even’ member to try, and those who wish to join are also invited to enter. As the juniors did the last colouring competition so well, we thought :hey would like nothing better than uore work of that kind. Paints or crayons may he used. I expect to ’oceive very pretty “'post-boxes” which will be handed to an arUst colleague ,o judge (a colleague is a person who works with another). Perhaps some seniors think they cannot write stories. Well, try. The effort will be good for you, and writing such interesting letters, you should have little difficulty. lam looking forward to numbers of very interesting entries. .One girl is not quite sure what is wanted for the Nature Notes Column. \nything noticed about animals, birds, trees or plants which you think would interest other members. Keep your eyes wide open. I have a few items and if I receive some more we will make a start next week. I do not expect these contributions to be wonderfully good. Like the letters, they will improve gradually. The coloumn should prove most interesting. We would like ever so many more members for our Circle. A good plan would be for eacli member to persuade a friend to join. Write your full name, age. and address on every letter, please, and do not forget to send the date and year of your birth as soon as possible. Be sure to mark your competition entries "Town” or “Country.” Goodbye until next week.— PETER PAN.
