A MATRICIDE.
APPEAL CASE FAILS. EVIDENCE BY A SISTER. ' REJECTED BY THE COURT. Received April 13, 1.15 p.m. LONDON, April 12. The appeal of William Kingston, who was found guilty and condemned to death for the murder of his mother, and who was temporarily reprieved, has been again dismissed. The fresh evidence was confined to a sixteen-year-old sister’s statement, to the effect that her father came to her room and not her brother. Lord Hewart dismissed her saying “We are satisfied the girl’s amended story is untrue; also that she knows it is untrue, we’ve had enough of this.”
