ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
EX-HAMILTONIAN KILLED
KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR
AUCKLAND, Wednesday
Through being knocked down by a motor car at the corner of Cook Street and Hobson Street last ing, Mr Lisle Pritt, a carpenter, married, aged 28, .received injuries from which lie died in hospital half an hour later.
Mr Pritt was crossing Hobson Street when lie was struck by a motor car driven by Mr Colin Edward Lannan, of llcrne Bay. lie sustained severe head injuries and was rendered unconscious. Mr Lannan drove the injured man to the hospital, where he died half an hour later without regaining consciousness. Mr Pritt had only been in Auckland for two weeks, having come here from Hamilton. lie leaves, a widow and two young children.
