Although the weather was most j unfavourable, and the ground soaked with water, the match played on the Recreation Ground, Morrinsvllle, on Saturday, between a Momnsville eleven and an eleven from Karangahakc was watched with a good deal of interest. Judging from the matches already played tins season it is evident that cricket in Morrinsville has laken ijuite a new lease of life. Wilh a lot of new Mood and a great deal more enthusiasm put into the game, the club is now in a very much more nourishing condition than last year, and so far, has more than held its , own.
