SOLOMON'S WIFE
ZULU "KING" MARRIES HIS 40th. Solomon, paramount chief of the Zulus, who styles himself "King," has just married his 40th wife. As Solomon is a Christian, the marriage is regarded as his last. The bride belongs to the family oi Sliembi, who are also Christians. The ceremony was performed in the presence of a. European clergyman, and the bride and her attendants were in European dress. Solomon's latest wife wore a crown, a dress of blue silk, and a veil, bnc carried orange blossoms. Solomon himself had a silk hat and a morning coat and carried a stick presented to tta by the Prince ° r Wales last year.
