GERMANY ADMITTED.
MEMBER OF THE LEAGUE. NON-PERMANENT SEATS. TO BE FILLED ON SEPTEMBER 25. (Australia and NZ. Cable Assn.) LONDON, Sept. 8. Germany was ttiis morning admitted to the League of Nations. The election of nnn-permanent members will take place about September 25. The withdrawal of Canada’s claim does not commit the other Dominions, of course, but Canada's abstention from the scramble for seats lias evoked expressions of the belief that the other Dominions will refrain from urging similar claims this session. DELEGATES LEAVE FOR GENEVA. (Received Sept. 9, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 8. Germany’s delegates to the League, Herrs Stressmann, Von Schubert and Gaus. representing the Foreign Office, are going to Geneva to-night.
