+ —- LATEST VOTING RETURNS. BOTII PROPOSALS BADLY BEATEN. (United Press Association.) SYDNEY, Sept. S. The latest figures in connection with die Federal referenda show the voting on the two questions to be as follows: Industries and commerce proposal: Noes 1,4(50,773 Ayes 1,101,820 Essential services proposal: Noes 1,443,901 Ayes 1,057,822 New Soutli Wales has voted in the affirmative on both issues with majorities of 89 and 23,218 respectively. Queensland lias voted “yes" to the llrst issue by a majority of 7550.
