COURSING.
AT TE AROHA. A coursing matcli took place at Te A roll a on Wednesday afternoon, there being a large attendance. Mr A. Charters, the secretary, bad all arrangements well in band, and everything passed off most satisfactorily. The entry comprised 10 dogs, the first prize being £l2 JOs, second £;> iOs, with two dogs 20s each. The following were the results. . First Round: F. Both well's Autumn King beat 11. Ailken’s Paparotu; K. Gibbons’ First Lady boat 11. Power’s Manawaru Lad; C. Tapp’s Royal Blue lost to T. Aitken’s Alatoa; F. Rotliwell’s Aichesoo beat J. Caldwell’s Boston Nell. Second Round: F. Dickie’s Pall Roy beat C. Play’s Te Arolia Lad; \T. 0. Brynne’s Silver Lock beat W. Downe’s Star of the East; E. Sanisbury’s Red Pearl beat J. Sampson’s Blue Danube. ,r. Aislabic’s Ah Wera beat C. Jackson’s Why Worry. Third Round: First Lady boat Autumn King; Alatoa beat Aiebeson Lad, Silver Lock beat Pall Roy, All Wera beat Red Pearl. Fourth Round: First Lady beat Alatoa Lad, Silver Lock beat Ah Wera. The final was won by First Lady, a kill being recorded very quickly.
