HUNTLY HOSPITAL.
ADMISSION OF CASUALTIES. TOWN BOARD MISAPPREHENSION. The Huntly Town Board is not at all satisfied with what it asserts is the decision of the Waikato Hospital Board to admit only maternity cases to tlie new Huntly hospital. In a letter to the bo'ard to-day the Town Board stated that the decision was not in accordance with the arrangement originally made with the local medical association, neither was it in accordance with the information given the people of Huntly at the time of the opening ceremony, and they respectfully suggested that the matter be again considered. Dr. Gower said that accident cases had been and were still being admitted to the Huntly llospjtal. It was decided to reply to this effect, and also to arrange a conference between a committee of the Hospital Board and tlie Town Board.
