The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from 9 a.m. daily, and .weather conditions are kindly supplied by Mr Jas. Bremner: Barometer. Wednesday 29.75 Thursday 29.70 Thermometer. Tuesday .... 52 40 Wednesday .. 56 37 Barometer, 29.70, unsteady. Indications are for showery weather to-day, probably fair to-morrow, with south-west winds and cold nights. Yesterday was fair during the day. A thunder shower, amounted to 0.20 inch of rain occurred during the night. Winds southerly. Mean temperature, 40.5 degrees.
The Weather Bureau wires for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day:—The indications are for westerly moderate to strong winds, squally and backing by west to south for a short time. The weather will probably prove cold and showery. The night will probably prove very cold. Barometer rising temporarily.
