PERSONAL.
Professor Riddet, of the Auckland University College, was in Hamilton last evening. Mr H. R. Ilogg, chairman of directors of the Opotiki Dairy Co., is in Hamilton. He is at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr D. Caley, formerly of Kaipaki and now of Auckland, is on a visit to Hamilton, and is staying at the Hamilton Hotel. Sir Robert Stout was sworn in as a member of the Legislative Council yesterday. His appearance was greeted with applause. Rev. J. Howie, the new minister of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Wellington! will arrive in the Empire City from Sydney by the Marama tomorrow, and His induction will take place on Monday next. .
