lion J. A. Young, Minister of Health, left Hamilton last evening for Wellington. Sir Arthur Myers has been ill with pneumonia, hut is now recovering, writes a London correspondent. Mr K. Eade left Ilamillon to-day on a health-recruiting visit to Takapuna. Lieut.-Colonel the Hon. Richard llenn Collins, formerly adjutant-gen-eral to. the New Zealand forces, has arrived in London. Mr J. Maughan Barnett (Auckland) has been elected a Fellow of the Royal Colonial Institute, writes a London correspondent. .Mr E. M. Kane, Clerk of the House of Heprescntativcs, was in Hamilton yesterday. He went south lo Wellington by the Limited !asl evening. Mr A. Ford, general manager of the Nu'ckland Tramways, sailed by the Aorangi yesterday for America and the United Kingdom to study their means of transportation. Mi' T. Hinlon, chairman of the Conical Electric Power Board, and the engineer, Mr .1. H. Ellis, will represent the' Board at the conference of electric power boards to be held in Wellington at an early dale. A tribute lo the memory of the late Mr Isaac Hopkins, who was one of the Dominion's most prominent beekeepers, was paid at the annual conference of the National Beekeepers' Association by those present standing in silence.
