Estimated stocks of cheese on hand Ist June, London, Liverpool and Bristol, Canadian and American, 23,100 boxes; New Zealand and Australian, 50,100 crates against 15,700 and G 0,250 same lime last year. Shipments of New Zealand produce arrived tins week per s.s. Hotorua and Waimana. Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London House, dated 3rd inst.: — "Butter —The market is firm, tending upward steadily. We quote: New Zealand salted J 725, Danish 1725; Now Zealand, exceptional brands, 17-is; finest Australian salted 170 s, unsalted 170 s. "Cheese —Market firm. New Zealand, white :3s, coloured 935; Canadian, 108 s; Canadian, new season on spot, 905."
