WAR MEMORIAL
A GERMAN LANTERN. PROVIDED BY GOVERNMENT. (By Telegraph. —Press Association.) BLENHEIM, Tuesday. It was discovered during a lecture on the war memorial given by Mr Hurst Scager, under the auspices of the Department of Internal Affairs, that a lantern supplied by the Government and used for illustration purposes was a new German-made lantern. Even Ihc book of instructions accompanying it was in the German language.
