AUCKLAND, Monday. Injuries to the ribs were sustained by Mr James Evans, Mangcre, an engineer, through falling while stopping from the scow Victory to the launch Pilot at Onelmnga wharf Ills injuries are not serious. An accident attended with fatal results occurred at New Lynn on Saturday evening, when Mrs Eva Haskell, aired r>o, was knocked down by a mo-tor-lorry. Mrs Haskell was admitted to Hie Auckland Hospital, her death taking place at an early hour yesterday morning. Stic had sustained a fracture of the skull.
