ROSE IN ENGLAND.
WINS ATLANTA CUP. (Australian and N.Z. Press Assn.) LONDON, June 6. At a sports meeting at Braintree, Essex, Randolph Rose, the New Zealand runner, won the three miles open scratcli race for the Atlanta Cup in 15m IS i-ss. Rose played a waiting game until the last lap, when lie came away and won by 4yds. The trophy is famous because it was won by A. Shrubb for six consecutive years.
