* i SOUTH AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. t ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS. 1 The annual meeting of members of ‘ the South Auckland Friesian Breeders’ Association was held at the Winter Show yesterday, Mr J. Hart presiding ‘ over an attncdancc of about 30 brecd- ; crs. Annual Report. ' The annual report was presented as ’ follows: —During tho year meetings of the executive have been held from lime to time, and there has been a ' good deal of work done. During the. election of officers the chairman suggested the abolition of district eonunillecs and the enlargement of the executive. pose of giving demonstrations and advice to dow breeders. More unanimity was required among the breeders. A social club would be the best means of bringing them together. It was decided to leave in the hands of the executive the matter of appointing conveners for district meetings and a resolution was passed that it be a recommendation to the council to allow Mr Kalaughher more time to carry out propaganda with «a view to establishing strong district clubs. Jt was resolved to close the year's balance-sheet earlier in order that the j annual meeting of the association could be held at Hamilton next year. A hcar.ty vote of thanks to the president concluded the meeting, i
