AUCKLAND BURGLARIES.
TWO PREMISES ENTERED. AUCKLAND, Saturday. Burglars last night entered the premises of Hugh Wright, Ltd., soft goods stores. Queen Street, and the Blue Bird Tea-rooms, next door. In the latter the safe had been left open, and did not contain money. A child's ’money-box was emptied and the drawer of the pay desk wa3 smashed open, without result. Wright's office safe was broken open and £ls stolen. Another safe was wrecked. Nothing of value is missing.
