MEDAL HANDICAP OVER 3G HOLES 11.I 1 . Western won the Cup with a noil srnrr of 15i. G. Western and Gerrnnd lied for second prizo with a noil, score of 137. As it was too dark lo play off any furllier holes it was derided lo draw for Ihis prize, which resulted in a win for G. Western. The modal handle,ap was won by G. Crimp with a. nett score of 7i, with AY. Gray second with 7G. The bogey handicap was won by Otway 1 up, with P. AVestern second I down. AA'iggins, Bellingham, Shop-’ herd and P. AVestern tied for second place and Ihe draw resulted as above. In presenting the prizes Dr. Douglas (president) remarked Hint he was glad lo sec so many competitors, especially as a number of outside clubs were represcnled. He, also spoke in high praise of Afr Simmons (captain) who is a hard working golfer and looked after the interest of ihe players. He thanked Hie ground committee and Mr Branch, who have done so much lo improve the links. Mr Simmons thanked the president for liis remarks, and slated that allhough his job at times was irksome, he could always rely on members to give him a hand. Cup Play.
