CAMBRIDGE DOMAIN.

BOARD MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Cambridge Domain Board was held on Wednesday. Those present were Messrs John Ferguson (chairman), S. Lewis, (I. At. Walt, T. F. Richards, and the secretary (Mr Walter Slopford). Mr A. W. Wright, of Papakura, gave quotations for various breeds of pheasants. Members were interested in the latter, but were of opinion that at present the board had no accommodation for more birds. The letter was received. Mr A. .K. Fletcher made a proposition regarding the two spare sections on the Karapiro Road, adjoining the golf links, and opposite his sections. Mr Fletcher suggested that the board find Ihe necessary posts and wire to put the fences in order, and in consideration of a term of free rental he would do tlie work on the fences and clear the sections of noxious weeds. — j The board was not prepared lo pay out money for posts and wire; but it was I decided to offer Mr Fletcher a lease of' the sections to coincide with his present lease, at an annual rental of £5. In the event of the tenant fencing and clearing the sections to the satisfaction of the board, he would be given live years' rent free.
