THE TAKINGS.

RECORD FOR TWO DAYS. The attendances during the first two days of the Show were well above those of the first two days last year, although to compare the first two days of both shows is scarcely fair, as last year the big day—the King's Birthday, was the second day, whereas this year it is on the third day—-to-day. The comparison really requires to be made, therefore, between the, first two days last year and the first and third this. As such is at this slage impossible, the figures for the first two clays only can be quoted. The comparison is, therefore, most favourable to this year, especially when it is mentioned that already the takings are £ioo ahead of the two days' total at last Show. To-day's attendance, which is very big indeed, should place the Association well ahead of last year, so far as returns are concerned.
