VALUE OF THE REBATES. .... FIGURES FOR 1924. (Australian and N.Z. Press Assn.) (Received June 2, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 1. . In the House of Commons Sir Burton Chadwick, Under-Secretary for Trade, in reply to a question, said tho amount of rebate during 1924 on preferential imports into Australia was £7,700,000, representing 12 per cent, of the value. Other approximate preferences were New Zealand £2,500,000. The figures for 1925 are not available.
