Need for Traffic Court
"PAY AS YOU CO.*" Offences against the motor regulations and by-laws are sc frequent in New Zealand, Hamilton having more than its share of them, that a special court is almost warranted to hear the cases brought by the Traffic Inspectors and police. Every regular Court day at Hamilton sees a large share of the time of the Court taken up with such cases, and New Zealand would do well to consider adopting a "pay as you go" fining system, which is shortly to be put into operation in Chicago.
