JOYLAND AT THE SHOW.
"SIGHTS WORTH SEEING." There are many sights worth seeing in the Joyland of the Waikato Winter Show this year, but a trio that will take some beating comprise Tommy the Small Horse, the Old Man Kangroo and the Alligator from Florida, South America. Eacli is an education in itself. Tommy is a puny equine, but lie is wonderfully clever —almost human in his mannerisms, and the things he is capable of performing. The Old Man Kangaroo is a likeable chap, who has many pet aversions, and instantly becomes a great favourite with the audience. The Alliirator is a special attraction in itMan Kangaroo," and "The Allegator self, and so far as New Zealand is concerned is a visitor of unique lineage. The management have gone to considerable expense to make its appearance at the Waikato Winter Show possible. Apart from the original outlay Ihey had to enter into a bond of £IOO as a guarantee against the Alligator's escape. This monster of the deep is weird and yet wonderful. "Tommy, the Small Horse," "The Old Man Kangaroo," and "The Alligator from Florida'' are sure to prove exliihils of outstanding attraction to young and old at Joyland ' at the Show. 46
