WAIKINO MAN MISSING.
♦ CAP FOUND IN STREAM. (By Telegraph.—-Press Association.) WAIIII, Monday. The cap of a missing man, Edward Alfred Scholz, a blacksmith, employed by the Waihi Goldmining Company at Waikino, has been found in tho stream some chains below the swing bridge on the Waitckauri Road. Scholz disapppeared from his lodging on May 21, and search parties have since failed lo find any trace of him. He was last seen standing on tho swing bridge, since which time the stream has been in flood.
