WEST COAST MINERS.
AN AGREEMENT RATIFIED. (By Telcgrr.ph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. Advice was received in Wellington ' this morning that an agreement between the mine owners and the miners on the West Coast was ratified by all parties concerned. The agreement comes into operatio.u immediately. THE NORTHERN WINES. CONFERENCE NEXT WEEK. WELLINGTON, Monday. Representatives of the mine-owners and miners in the Waikato district will meet in conference next week for the purpose of discussing the dispute in the northern mines. It is probable that the West Coast agreement will t(_jm the basis of any settlement which may I,'e effected in the North.
