VISIT TO THE ISLANDS. WARM WELCOME AT'NIUE. AUCKLAND, Monday. The Governor-General and party arrived at Nine on May 13, and landed with a guard of marines from the warship and returned Niuo soldiers. An imposing reception was given in the schoolhouso. Responding to a speech of welcome by the Resident Commissioner, Sir Charles Fcrgusson delivered a message from l,he King to the Niuiians, and unveiled a large tablet with Hie names of nine men who served in the war.
