INTERESTING EXHIBITS.

WASHTUBS, SAFES, COPPERS. Interesting exhibits at' this year's Waikato Winter Show are those of C. J. Roberts, of 12 Grey Street Hamilton East. On his stand, which is situated in the root section, is to be seen a novel heater which is, for the farmer, the most useful article that the writer has yet seen. Here again the proverbial benzine tin is brought into use! The heater, the cost of which is £i 5s for Hamilton, contains sufficient room to allow three litis of water to be boiled in one operation at no cost whatever. The farmer alone knows how necessary it is for him to have hot water around him for cleansing and sterilising purposes. Here is his opportunity and an inspection of Ibis heater should not be overlooked when the Show is visited. A washing copper on exhibition is also attracting a great deal of attention. On the top of this copper is to be found a special flange. This prevents the water from boiling over, which, no doubt, has been experienced by those using the ordinary washing coppers. The door of the grating of this newly designed copper will not keep "on the jar." It will only do one of two things—keep open or keep closed with the result that the lady in charge will not suffer her shins to be grazed. The concrete wash tubs on view are large and well manufactured. An unusual feature of these washtubs is that the lops of the tubs are made of wood (totara) thus making washing more congenial for the person so engaged. Mr Roberts, Ihe manufacturer and designer of these and other articles, is an engineer by trade and his exhibits at Hie Show should on no account be missed. Mr Roberts, whose address is given above, will be happy lo give any information. His 'phone No. is iOaO.
