IMPORTANT CATTLE SALE.
MR W. H. MIERS' GRADE JERSEYS. Rarely does such an opportunity occur of securing such high-grade Jersey cattle as those to be offered without reserve by the Farmers' Cooperative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., on account of Mr W. H. Miers, at Bototuna to-morrow. This herd would not have been on the market except for the fad that Mr Miers has to sell it, to make room for the well-known "Jersey Brae" pedigree herd that he has lately purchased from Mr T. Church, of Tc Rapa. Thirty of the above cows are a whole herd that averaged liG-ilb fat, the balance are first and second calvers, Taranaki bred. The cows have been pasturing with " Ku ku Majesty," a full brother to Mr Horn's great cow " Ku Ku Sweet Pea." The heifers are in calf to a grandson of "Pretty's Fli''t," dOiOJb fat, and "Ngarnohi Wcka," siSlb fat. Dairy farmers desirous of securing really choice animals should make a point of attending this sale.*
