JERVOIS' HANDICAP DIVISION. The large number of acceptors received for the Jervois Handicap at the Auckland Winter Meeting on Thursday necessitates a division of the field. The event will be run as two separate, races, Ihe totalisator operating separately fin- each event. The respective lields are arranged as follows:

It is announced that the order of the programme on the opening day will he as follows: —First Division, .Tervois Handicap; Green Lane Steeplechase; Second Division Jervois Handicap; Penrose Hurdle Itaee, Great Northern Hurdle I'ace, Cornwall Handicap: Hunt Club Hurdle Race, Members' Handicap. SIR ROSE3ERRY AMISS. AUCKLAND, Monday. All is not well with Sir Rosoberry, who did not work on Saturday. The trouble is in ids off foreleg, which filled a good deal. Yesterday he showed signs of improvement and was putting more weight on the leg than on the previous day. His ownertrainer, \V. St. Leger Slakes, I : ,' miles. —I'las[oon 1, Wee Glen 2, Sun King IS. Seven started. In a great finish Plasloon won | by a short head. Time, 3.(L1 (race record). Siradbroko Handicap, 0 fur.—Highland J, Dalsyce 2, Fair Exchange ,'l. Nineteen started. Highland won by a length and a-quarlcr. Time, 1.13 (race record).
