SAWMILL DESTROYED
CARETAKER SERIOUSLY BURNED. DAMAGE, £20,000. (United Press Association.) (Received 10.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, May 4. A fire at Monkcrai destroyed a sawmill and slock of limber, the property of Mr W. \Y. Woods. Tiie damage i-; estimated at L'20,000. The caretaker, named Sterling, was badly burned when making his escape and hi' was sent |o the hospital in a critical condition.
