The Nairobi correspondent of the Morning Post says reports from Lamu, in British East Africa, state that certain chiefs in Italian Somaliland objected to Hie complete administration of the affairs of their territory by the Italians. Fighting ensued in -which the State forces sustained losses. The Somalis retreated. Some of the natives have gone toward British Somaliland and others toward Abyssinia.
