LONDON MARKETS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The Department of Industries and Commerce has received the following cablegram from the High Commissioner's Office, dated London 13th inst.: —. Tallow: Spot market quiet but steady and no change in price. Apples: English Bramlcy 8s to 10s per bushel, oilier cookers ns to Bs. Canadian and American stocks plentiful. Market slow, Newton Pippin 12s to IGs, red sorts 10s lo 12s per case. Hemp: Manila market dull and easier. “J" grade No. 2 sold down to 141 10s. Output January 1 to February 28, 21G.000 against 206,000. Stocks of Manila on hand February 28 IGS,OOO against 133,000. Great Britain 23,000 against 18,000. S'sal easier. No. 1 Tanganyika MarchMay shipments quoted sellers £44. No." 1 Kenya £43 10s. New Zealand dull in sympathy with sellers who quote Higlipoints £3B; fair £35 10s. Wool: Sales fully attended and very good competition. Merino and Fine Crossbred maintained opening price rales, Medium Crossbred somewhat irregular at about penny lower.
