MR COBHAM'S RETURN. (Reuter.) LONDON, March 13. Mr Alan J. Gobham arrived at Croydon to-day, having completed his return'flight frcm Capetown', lie had reached " Athens from El Solium, Egypt, yesterday. Mr Alan J. Cobham left Stag Lane, Edgwarc, London, en November 16, in a De Haviland 50 aeroplane, and arrived at Capetown on February 17. lie thus completed a flight of SO2O miles. The return flight was. commenced on February 20- The more speedy time in which it has been accomplished is duo to the fact that on the outward journey Mr Cobham had to make a detailed report for imperial Airways of the entire route, not only from a practical aviation point ot view, but also as regards Ihc possibilities of developing sound commercial intermediate air routes.
